matching colour
Two ladies paused in conversation. I especially liked the way they had matching colour bags and presume she is holding her friend’s umbrella!

plus: Interesting and colorful subjects. I must say i like the one in with the camera in portrait position better because the background doesn't adds much.
minus: They shadow is covering the most important parts of the two persons.

plus: The subject is good ; the matching pattern.
minus: the background and the left portion is distracting in the photo.

thanks for the comments, it helps affirm my assumptions. The umbrella does cover their faces, yes, but that's why the umbrella is there. I could have asked them to move into the light, and away from the yellow line, and switched bags to give a more interesting photo, but, oh no. I think the landscape photo gives more of a sense of the situation. Two woman, paused on a quiet wide road. Their conversation clearly grabbed their attention above all else, else they would have moved to the shade of a banyan tree. The portrait photo could be of two people patiently waiting in a queue. It depends if you are taking a still, or a photo of life-in-action, no?
